Donald Freking Glazed Urn

Donald Freking Pottery specializes in functional stoneware and decorative pottery. All pottery is hand thrown by the artist. Glazes are the creation of the artist. Each piece is micro-wave, oven and dishwasher safe.

Donald Freking received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Ceramics from the University of Iowa in 1988.  Currently he owns and operates the Donald Freking Pottery in Cartersville, GA. The studio and gallery that stands today was built in 1941 and was known as the Georgia Art Pottery founded by the late Bill Gordy.

This urn stands 8” tall and about 7” wide.  It is a beautiful piece with a rick dark tan finish with hints of green on the rim and handle edges.
